The Digital Triangle
Ever sit on a stool where one leg was shorter than the others? It felt uncomfortable, right?
Well, that's what your digital communications program is like if the three major areas don't fit and work together well. The fix is simple.
1) Web. Your web site must be complete, up-to-date and fully functional or you're communicating that you're not competitive or just not interested in your customers.
2) Email. Every organization, large or small, profit or non-profit, has an audience that cares what they do and what they think. So tell them.
3) Social Media. The vast majority of Americans use social media now, with more than half claiming they can't live without it.
But spewing your deals and spiels into these more personal channels is not effective. There are better, more appropriate ways to get your message across.
A Digital Review
Our digital review is basic, and makes good business sense. "Why" are you doing this, "Who" are you talking to, "What" are you saying, and "How" are you delivering communications?
Sounds like simple planning, but the catch is you must have a deep understanding of digital comm and years of experience on how it works. Not a task for those who have just "seen" it done or "heard" about how to do it.
Call in a team that's been there, done that and can prove it. QSI.
