IGNITION RECEIVES INNOVATIONS AWARD FOR CINEGO

Las Vegas, NV (January 1, 2005) - Industrial design firm Ignition, Inc., was a recent recipient of the Innovations award at CES for the Cinego projector, produced for Radio Shack, and the V3-131 Projector, produced for Plus-Vision.

The design team created an entirely new product category with Cinego, one that can be used in a variety of environments. Cinego allows the consumer to make any occasion special by establishing a gathering place for friends and family. Whether for movie viewing, TV or sporting event watching or game-playing, Cinego can go anywhere the audience goes. It can also attach to a cable/satellite TV system, a gaming console or to a PC, thus allowing for other applications outside the home, such as schools, churches or business. With an integrated video projector, DVD player and sound system, it creates an instant home theater. Having all the components integrated eliminates the need for secondary equipment. Cinego can project a brilliant picture on any wall or screen, anywhere. It is small and compact, completely portable and requires only a single power cord, making it the first standalone device for projection movie viewing. It also offers 854-by-480 resolution, which is also ideal for DVD movie playback.

The V3-131 is the world's thinnest projector. Engineers and Designers had to work closely together to accomplish the feat of creating optics that would work with an offsetting mechanism. Optics paths are highly complicated, so it was necessary to find a way to compress them so that the overall package could remain thin. At only 35mm thin, the V3-131 is designed for the road warrior. It includes features and functions designed to get a presentation going quickly. Full automatic sensing and projector adjustment enables users to achieve an optimized projected image, regardless of input source. At 1.1 kg and 1000 lumens, the projector is extremely lightweight but still very bright. Its superb color and native XGA resolution provides clear images, crisp text and colorful graphics every time. Its compact size and sleek design allows it to fit easily into any carrying case.
